Science and Art è un progetto europeo che vuole sensibilizzare i giovani sui temi ambientali e del riciclo in un’ottica di durabilità e riutilizzo di diversi materiali.
The main objectives of the project are:
- To develop the capacity of adults to intervene in environmental education by training adult skills.
- To develop strategies for approaching environmental education in both formal and non-formal contexts.
- To establish a transnational program for the development and exploitation of adults' creativity to protect the environment and find new ways to creatively recycle waste.
The activities involved in the project are:
- Project management.
- Information and publicity activities of the project.
- Preparation activities for adults participating in mobilities.
- 6 transnational meetings.
- Improving English language communication skills for 24 participants in transnational mobility.
- Creating open educational resources.
- Publishing the Creative Recycling Guide.
- Dissemination of information and capitalization of the results.
- Realization of a project website and a Facebook group for communication and socialization.
The expected impact of the project includes:
- A Creative Recycling Guide published as an open educational resource in English.
- Improving skills for 72 participants in transnational meetings.
- 1 project website for dissemination.
- 1 Facebook group for communication.
- Increasing the number of educational partnerships at European level.
- Development of the local community.
- Increasing the prestige of the associations within their communities.
- Raising awareness of European Union support for adult education.
